LCUSD will continue to provide Grab and Go Meals to all children at no cost. These meals include breakfast and lunch. With the 7th -12th graders returning to campus, there will be a change to the meal pick-up location. Beginning on Monday, March 29th, Grab and Go Meals will be available, as a drive-thru convenience, from 10:30 – 12:00 in the roundabout located at the 7/8 Grade drop-off gate behind the school. The entrance is accessible from Foothill Blvd. Parents/Guardians are welcome to pick-up meals for their children at the 7/8 drop-off gate.
Beginning April 13th, 7th – 12th Graders who are on campus Tuesday through Friday, are encouraged to pick-up a Grab and Go Meal from the Cafeteria between 1 -1:30 as they leave campus.
Part of our safe return to campus planning includes completing a prescreener for each child before coming to school. We want you to ask these four questions and then show your confirmation to a member of the check-in team.

This week our hybrid 4th and 5th-grade students came back to campus. The experience began with school tours, even some in the rain on Wednesday! Our teachers and staff are excited to see the students return and meet their students in person. On Monday, March 8th, our hybrid 6th graders return.
The LCUSD COVID Compliance Team has prepared a dashboard to support timely and transparent information related to known COVID-19 cases connected to our school campuses while maintaining privacy and confidentiality. In order to minimize the challenges of meal service during a pandemic, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that the La Canada Unified School District may provide meals at no cost to all children in the community through June 30, 2021.
LCUSD partnered again with Panorama Ed to deliver back to school surveys. Traditionally these were given in January with topics related to school culture, climate, safety, and classroom and school experiences. In response to the unique learning environment, the survey team made adjustments to check in with staff and students to ensure timely resource allocation as we get ready for the second half of the school year.
