I am originally from San Jose, California. I attended Cal State Long Beach where I earned a bachelor's degree and credential in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics. At Long Beach, I played on the school’s division I water polo team and met my charming and handsome husband, Jared.

I went on to teach in the Beverly Hills Unified while earning my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. My husband and I ended up moving to San Diego where I taught the 5th grade in the Del Mar Union School District. In 2017, I joined the PCR family teaching 5th grade in room 1!
